2019 Calendar “Elements”
Air element: regarding water management and in short-radius distribution – the Netherlands benefits from intelligent solutions.
Quiet and peaceful as the scenery might appear: close to Kinderdijk in the Netherlands, there is a fight going on between the elements of water and air. This region near Rotterdam lies below sea level and is always at the risk of flooding. That is why the windmills, now part of UNESCO cultural heritage, were built in the 18th century to pump out the excess water using wind power – for the sake of the farmers. Today, those farmers – and also many Dutch producers – benefit from increasingly developed water management methods. And from modern trucks like the Atego, which provide reliable distribution for their goods.

super aufgepasst! Da hast du natürlich Recht. Leider ist das hier erst nach Druckschluss aufgefallen. Aber du weißt ja wie das ist: wo viel gehobelt wird, fallen auch viele Späne 😉
